Three workshops in 2009 will be organized by Sichuan University, which are related to the post-quake reconstruction:

- Feb. 23-24, 2009: Workshop among Sichuan university, Monash university (Australia) and Tsinghua university on retrofit  of Wenchuan earthquake : damaged structures and reconstruction of new buildings by utilizing waste materials

- May 11-13, 2009: International Conference on Sichuan post-quake reconstruction

- Aug. 20-22, 2009: Post-earthquake reconstruction in Sichuan: prevention and reduction of earthquake and engineering mechanics.
